These centers are like labs, research centers where a constant churn and analysis is done via brainstorming, POCs, empirical conclusions etc. on driving the successful outcome of the projects, by coming up with a set of constantly evolving measures. We cross utilize the knowledge of various resources like –

The resultant knowledge from the above COEs is applied to our offerings thus creating the most optimal value for the customer. The COEs supply us with knowledge that lets us not restrict ourselves to the contractual obligation only but go beyond it as a partner, by utilizing the support research information that is derived from our COEs.
These COEs are kept fresh and effective by managing them like closed loop control system kind of a mechanism where the output is fed back to the inputs and see if it is producing desired results or not and if not, then adjust the parameters and performance accordingly.
The COEs are also like practice and/or simulation grounds for pilot projects which will enable us to manage risk well for the customer when the actual project is implemented.
